The name of our association has changed. The European Waterproofing Association AISBL (EWA) has become Waterproofing Europe AISBL (WE).
Our association is aiming to become Europe’s central source of advice and information on all roofing and waterproofing matters both to the industry and to its user groups. We are now one step closer to this goal, as WE can also count manufacturers of synthetic membranes among its members. Together, we would like to create a strong platform and represent the interests of our industry at European level. Waterproofing Europe co-ordinates and supports the efforts of its members in the promotion of waterproofing. Our technical work and know-how form the centerpiece of our work: the creating and providing of common technical information on bituminous membranes, bituminous shingles and synthetic membranes used in the roofing and waterproofing area.

WE News 
“It has been an honour to be elected as the new president of Waterproofing Europe by my peers. My main objective will be to gather all the forces of bituminous and synthetic membranes producers as well as shingles manufacturers in Europe, big and small, and to encourage them to work together to safeguard our common interests and to promote all our products in a world that has become particularly complex and turbulent.“
